Yeah... I think deviantart is going through some weird growing pains in regards to that set of policies..... don't let it discourage you from continuing your art I've seen far worse things stay up... and things that shouldn't be deleted are deleted.... but things like that will invariably happen from time to time on a site like deviantart, with as many people and deviations on here as there are.
